Ashes, ashes, we all fell down. I don't know. I've been trying to figure out the cricket for yonks with no result. Still, I did get a bit wrapped up in the latest Ashes series. It was because, I think, England seemed so keen. Unusually so. And the Aussies seemed so complacent. Not even cockie, just like it was a done deal. There are rarely done deals in sport, particularly when the other side has spent so many years in the wilderness that they have absolutely nothing else to lose. The Aussies came to play. England came to win. Good on 'em. This time.
