It's Smokin'! (And getting fatter, too!)

Yep, the Dow Jones Industrials has topped its record set back in 2000. Not that most of the 30 stocks that make up the average have come along. Indeed, most of the grunt that got the DJIA back to its old high were the addictions of the American consumers: cigarettes and packaged food. Not to mention the gambling addiction that the stock market seems at times to suffer (Guambat included).


The general leading this charge is Altria. Altria has 2 main divisions, Philip Morris and Kraft.


I think a "balanceed" portfolio would consist of Altria and some kind of health care provider. Get 'em comin' and goin'. Can't go wrong. Go wrong.
