Guambat gives 2 paws down on new Google news
We hates it we does.
The new Google news aggregator is geared to providing news from the crowd, spreads out the news you want to oversee in an abbreviated flash (and did see in the old format), and funnels you to their choice of "top ranked" news source (Guambat usually picked a 2nd or 3rd ranked article for the principal of it, and often for the edification.
They should know that Big Brother is Evil. But not as evil as Stupid. Kill "Most Popular" side bar and run the stuff Guambat wants side by side.
It's a pain in the butt. A real case of tabloids.
