Rolled, not Black balled
"Guam's former chief federal prosecutor, Frederick Black, was not demoted.... 'he was replaced ....' Black's title shift from being the acting U.S. Attorney for Guam and the Northern Marianas to being an assistant U.S. Attorney became a national topic after the Los Angeles Times reported recently that Black was demoted after records of the Guam Superior Court's payments to Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff were subpoenaed. Black had been leading an investigation into the lobbying payments before his demotion, according to the Times." http://www.guampdn.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050817/NEWS01/508170317/1002
